When Lucy finds the note from Natsu, it feels like her heart has stopped. It’s so stereotypically him, right down to the tone of it, that even through her grief, she can’t stop the chuckle that slips out.
She manages to find the strength to run out her door and see if she can catch him, but she should have known better – she does know better. Natsu is long gone.

Summary
Adrien much prefers living his life as Chat Noir. Chat Noir has no restraints and exists free of the hurt his civillian side has endured all this time.
Marinette loves her life though the responsibility of being both Ladybug and Guardian of the Miraculous is a heavy one. Although she wishes she was as confident in her lovelife as she is facing akuma.
When Marinette finds herself getting closer to Chat while also trying to improve her friendship with Adrien, she starts to suspect that not all is well behind Chat or Adrien's sunny smiles.
GENERAL TRIGGER WARNING: Sexual abuse is referenced throughout but not explicitly described until later chapters. I don't plan to be writing out any r*pe scenes in detail, but there will be scenes of non-con. There may be some slight adjustment/addition of tags as more chapters are added.
