Frantic and too anxious to use the handgun, you throw a flash grenade. It doesn’t do anything. Despite being chased by a mutated and inhuman monster, Leon still has time to throw you an incredulous look.
In your stupidity, you forgot to pull the pin.
(Alternatively: It is September 1998. You are nineteen years old and living in Racoon City. Or, you were, until about five days ago. Now you're just surviving, and badly at that. But hey, at least you've got Leon Kennedy by your side, right?)

Summary
Susanna awakens with no memories, in the middle of nowhere, and has to crawl her way out of the ground. The forest is unrecognisable, there's a stone cottage seemingly abanonded, and a goat named Blaidd that swears he hates all people. Recognising the familiar feel of magic, Susanna decides to settle, explore and learn about this new world and the magic it contains, different from her own.
And then Anders comes.
(Alternative: Anders flees the Circle during the Broken Circle quest and escapes into the woods. He gets lost, Templar hot on his heels, and is saved by a witch. Susanna is influenced/inspired by the DnD Druid class.)
(Follows part of Origins, to Awakening, and then DA2. Eventual Male Hawke/OC, slow burn, canon divergence/fix-it fic)

(In a last-ditch, impossible and entirely incoveiable attempt, Victoria and Petra send themselves backwards into time, back to the very beginning where it all started. In 1926 at Wool's Orphanage, London. They had a baby to kill.)

Really, she felt a distant curiosity for this creature who’d sired her, and she did reply to most of his letters, full of questions about the war he was waging for a crown her mother said was worth naught but scorched crabs and sunken ships. He never replied long enough to strike up a correspondence, but he sent suitably lavish gifts for her namedays. Never a dragon egg, though, no matter how much she begged for one.
Later, her mother said, begrudgingly, that Daemon had in fact fought for his daughter to be permitted an egg, just as his brother the King’s children all had, but that was refused, largely through the influence of Ser Otto the Lord Hand, who said that the Iron Throne could not afford to let a third house gain the might of dragons. The Velaryons were quite enough of a bother already, apparently.

Did not test reach and flexibility before Omega-4 🤘🏼
A Shepard which considers all about Alliance regulations and rules
Shekarian on the down-low amongst the Normandy, though crew does suspect (which I like a lot more than blatant PDA and showing off, really enjoy that)
THE ANGST IS REAL
Shepard is SUFFERING. So realistic of her, who would be alright when the entire galaxy is relying on you to win this war ?! 😰I rarely, if at all, go into details for my bookmarks. The fact that I am right here has to mean something good about this fic.
