Мерлін пережив драконів, долю, королів, монархів ненавидячих магію і емоційне спустошення від спостереження за смертю всіх кого він колись кохав.
Так що насправді, він подумав, легка подоріж до чарівного світу на чай не може бути такою вже поганою.
Він помилявся.
Тепер, він якось став неофіційним емоційно-підтримуючим дорослим в Гоґвартсі, його переслідують домашні ельфи, бо він продовжує лагодити конструкційні проблеми замку, він розбирається з проблемою з василиском з якою, за словами Мерліна, він доволі впевненний , що вже розбирався колись у п'ятому сторіччі, і намагається переконати Гільдероя Локарта, що вони не "професійні суперники".
Мерлін шкодує, що вийшов з дому...

Ayrton choked.
There it was, the mess of curls in all its french glory. The shorter man’s hands were wrapped around him, tight—tighter than whatever professional colleague should hug their coworker—not to mention whatever tense relationship they had with each other. He heard the click of cameras and saw the flashes of light out of the corner of his eyes. Oh lect, the reporters.
“Prost, Prost—” Ayrton tried to snap his partner out of whatever funk this was. “What are you doing—”
A hand went to his face. What? It brushed against his eyes, then his nose, and landed on his lips. “You sound like him too.”
Ayrton grabbed the Frenchman’s hand. “What the trock is wrong with you Prost?!”

Alain Prost falls asleep and wakes up in a new world. It's a world full of superheroes and villains, a world with bad beer and fake curses, a world where the face in the mirror is a shadow of a man, and it's a world where ...he is still alive.
(Seven braids. Seven years. There was no seventh lap around Imola here, but- Alain Prost cannot save a dead man.
He will never stop trying.)
