Something still wasn’t right, she looked her hands, her skin a dull purple, hands missing fingers
Did I? No I couldn’t have… there’s only one way to know for sure
She stuck out her tongue, a dozen feet later it hits a tree

Summary

She arrives at the asset’s hideout and encounters a very familiar face: “Franky?!”

He's on vacation to a glorious city where other people's money can be his for free, completely legally! Mostly because the state of Nevada doesn't have any laws about using cursed amulets to cheat at poker. It's not like anyone would be able to tell.
Alone and adrift in the world, two legendary con artists arrive in Sin City, and instead of passing like ships in the night, they collide like oil tankers with their navigational lights off in a busy shipping channel. It's going to be an interesting weekend.

After scanning over messages from classmates and gossip hunters, Anne stumbles on a server Marcy added her to a while back. The people on the server were people she'd never met before in real life- online friends of Marcy's. Still, she had fond memories of funny messages they'd send. She realizes that there would be no consequences of talking to them, of actually responding. They don't know her IRL, and really, she could use a good laugh right about now...
