They've kissed a million times before. Shy ones, mouths brushing fleeting and unsure before pulling apart with either nervous laughter or flustered glances away. Saccharine like this was the least common, and all the better for it, all sticky sweet and cloying, like words weren't enough, like the act wasn't enough, like they were trying to get the other to understand just how they felt through kisses that lingered long after they'd pulled apart.
She thinks she could kiss Jax like this forever, if he let her.

Summary

Christine constructs a plan to investigate what happened to them, desperate for closure, but the only person who might be able to help her is dead-set on denying their past.

Pomni and the other members of the circus wake up in the offices of C&A and restart their lives best they can. That is everyone except Jax who almost disappeared if not for falling back into Pomnis life.
This story follows the after and how the group chooses who to connect with and not. There's some mystery with C&A and lots of yearning.
OR a funnybunny story with plot involving C&A mystery and how the circus crew tries to maintain their friendship post circus and find the abstracted (if they're alive). I love characters and interpersonal conflict. So wrote this to practice writing and work out my funnybunny/TADC addiction.

Summary
What woman would want a man without a penis? The reality was, at least to him, that women wanted a boyfriend, not a glorified girlfriend.
In an attempt to receive forgiveness from the circus, Caine agrees to add the ability to sex, and gives everyone their own set of genitals. Just as Jax, who has not told anyone about his trans identity (FTM), was beginning to develop a relationship with Pomni, he is horrified to find out that the genitals given are based off of biological sex. Even after finding out Pomni is also trans (MTF), he still fears to tell her the truth, and does his best to keep the secret for as long as possible in the fear of losing her.

Some things stay easy. Late night calls, familiar voices, the kind of friendships that don’t really change no matter the distance. But other things don’t translate as well. Misunderstandings, words come out wrong and feelings that were easy to ignore before suddenly aren’t.

[STAN AND KYLE POV]
Now was Stan's turn to snort. Kyle was ever one for wit. God... what had he been thinking befriending anyone else?
"I don't understand why you got bullied, yanno," blurted Stan. "'Should've been me, not you. You're the confident, clever one. Clearly."
Kyle's forehead scrunched, the creases having embedded themselves there since they were thirteen.
"No, dude. Don't-... don't say shit like that," he scolded gently. Soon he had dumped himself next to Stan, leaning his elbows on his knees, his right hand trailing through his red locks. He bumped Stan's shoulder with a tiny grin. "There's no way I'm cool, what with my track record with girls. I don't expect any chick to have ever found me remotely attractive."
"...How...?" Stan said before he could stop himself. "You look.... fine to me."
(AKA. It's their freshman year in highschool: fighting, reconciliation, pining, the works. Only, with so much on their plates, Stan's wellbeing goes unchecked.)

Stan shuffles, turning toward Kyle. He's facing away from him, his deep breaths evident through the sheets. He smells faintly of mint, though Stan's sure it'd be a much stronger scent if he were actually facing him. Kyle always applies an excessive amount of mint chapstick before going to sleep. Stan knows. He hates mint, but that distinctive smell of it lingering on Kyle's lips in the morning always makes him wish he didn't. Stan gulps, hot and and thick and uncomfortably running along his Adams apple. He always wondered if he would like the taste if he got one lick of how it tasted straight from Kyle's lips. Would it open his eyes? Would he suddenly realize he's been missing out on mint for years, or would it be something he already knows in the back of his mind, distantly?
