Summary
Noel’s cheeks redden with the speed of light when they’re together. When they talk, when they fight, when they brush hands over the omelette pan and sometimes Noel will jerk away, the back of his ears bright pink like a beacon and Liam wants to devour him, consume him whole like an ortolan, wants the world to have no piece of him because Noel was put on the face of the earth to only be Liam’s. Noel won’t say anything sometimes, eyes caught on some part of Liam’s face and he stares like he’s caught in a daze, starstruck (and he’ll look, unashamed, unabashed and Liam will sometimes forget that Noel doesn’t want to be seen with him) and they’re both caught in this moment, world at a fucking standstill and Liam is afraid to move when Noel’s cheeks are warm because what if it’s the last time?
