The idea of Kaveh dragging himself back to Sumeru City, alone, half out of his mind and highly sensitive to his body’s more carnal needs set Alhaitham’s teeth on edge. “Thank you for escorting him home. How long until the effects wear off, and how do I deal with him until then?”
“A week at most, less if his body is- ah, satiated, shall we say?” Tighnari coughed into his fist, unable to summon an appropriate stoic bedside manner when discussing such a topic with close friends like Kaveh and Alhaitham. “I don’t want to presume anything about your relationship, but the only person he’s asked for is you.”
Alhaitham silently prayed to Lesser Lord Kusanali for strength, thankful for his body’s natural gift for masking physical responses. He didn’t blush easily, but in that moment he felt just about ready to combust. “Don’t tell him that!” Kaveh grimaced, his voice a breathy whine on Alhaitham’s neck that sent shivers running down his spine.
