Summary
They met when a friend dragged Spencer to trivia night for some spontaneous socialization (horror) at the bar where Tommy bartends. Spencer was folded into the little friend group that haunts the bar almost instantly. Then there was the moment at the party—and Spencer ran. A month later, he’s back at the bar that he couldn’t stay away from. Tommy doesn’t remember the moment. Probably. Spencer’s not planning on asking.
Tommy isn’t a greedy man. He’s glad to have whatever version of Spencer he can get. It’s not his fault that his stupid heart wants more. He can be Spencer’s friend and be so normal about it. He really can.

Summary
So. Essentially, Spencer is fucked.
No pun intended.
Sue him for trying to do a good thing and donate blood. Which, apparently, he cannot do for the time being. Because he is HIV-positive.

Summary
Like so many other bad decisions, this one begins when Tommy bothers to pick up his phone.
"Okay, so I may have made a few questionable decisions," Spencer says apropos of nothing, his voice a little too quiet across the line.
"Always a great way to start a phone call. Hi, Spencer, how's your evening? Good? Good! Oh mine? Well-"
"Tommy, this is an emergency."||
Or, Tommy helps Spencer out of a tough situation. Or maybe helps a tough situation out of Spencer. Depends on who you ask.

Tommy has started working out, and he's making progress—but god, he's tired of being sore. Shayne offers to teach him about foam rolling, and they get a little sidetracked.
