Summary
Loki dies. And then he gets a shitty job and a shittier apartment in a bland, Limbo-like afterlife.
There he meets Mobius, who he feels a strange connection with from the start. When Loki hears rumors about the "People In Charge" (PIC) - the only ones who might be able to answer his questions (such as "How did he die?" and "Why can't he remember it?") - the two set out to find them. If they even exist. Alongside a strange hitchhiker named Sylvie who has her own mysterious reasons for wanting to track down the PIC, they find themselves on the not-so-scenic road through Limbo on a search for the truth.
And maybe, just maybe, they'll find themselves along the way.

Rex opens his mouth – to thank her for her help and tell her they’ll be waiting just over there, patiently, without making a fuss, right Cody? – but he doesn’t get a chance to say anything before Cody beats him to the punch.
“I’m his husband.”
Rex stops dead.
Or: Obi-Wan ends up in a medcenter and Cody lies to get in to visit him. (Or does he?)

Summary
This is far from the first formal event he’s attended as Thrawn’s translator. Playing that role is just about where the similarities end, however. Those have been Imperial events. Sure the hosts change, but after the first couple, the patterns became predictable, almost boring even. Thrawn is either paraded about the room or left mostly to hover and observe, depending on the type of event and the scale of his most recent military success. And as much as Eli hates the way Thrawn is treated as some kind of trophy, he’s learned how to get through it.
But this is something else entirely.
Or: When Thrawn and Eli go undercover to infiltrate a fancy party, things quickly get more complicated than either of them had planned.

“I wanted to see you off. And, I suppose, to offer my assistance. But only if it’s wanted.”
Bo-Katan takes a step back and starts to turn, a protest already on the tip of her tongue, but as she does, she catches sight of herself in the mirror – the crooked collar on a shirt that makes her overly aware of the lankiness of her arms, her hair which had been combed once – before she’d continued to run her hands through it over and over again between tries at adjusting her collar. The fact that she’s not even wearing pants.
Alright, so maybe she’s out of her depth.
Satine helps Bo-Katan get ready for a date.

Summary
The blemish is visible there on the side of Fox’s neck, partially obscured by the collar of his blacks. It stands out starkly against the brown of his skin, a dark splotch of color tinted purple. Thire barely has enough time to wonder what in the stars could have caused it before Fox is slapping a hand over the spot, effectively obscuring it from sight.
“That,” he snaps, eyes going wide, “is nothing.”
Quinlan Vos starts spending more and more time hovering around the Republic military base. Fox starts sustaining... mysterious injuries. Thire can only assume the Jedi isn't treating his Commander right. (And so, the Coruscant Guard puts two and two together and gets five.)

Summary
With all the noise and violence of a bolt of lightning, the pieces click into place. The Chancellor, Fives had said. The Chancellor had known about the inhibitor– no, the control chips.
Dooku had told him. On Geonosis all those years ago. Obi-Wan’s blood roars through his ears. The Republic under the control of a Sith Lord, he’d said. Hundreds of Senators. And who else has access to so many people, to so much influence, so much power. A person who had known about the chips.
Obi-Wan’s stomach drops out from under him. He's going to be sick.
Or: Fives lives. Obi-Wan puts the pieces together. Cody makes a sacrifice.

Summary
Both his arms fly in front of his face, but it’s a futile effort. The particles rain down across his hair, his eyelashes, his tunics, clinging to every surface they find. Cody doesn’t know if it’s natural or a trick of the light, but they seem to admit a faint golden glow that reflects a light shimmer against Kenobi’s skin. His General’s newfound luminescence is the least of his concerns, however.
Because for all of their insistence that this plant is important and could change the tide of the war, and it’s imperative that we have the chance to study it, Obi-Wan, the Council, of course, hadn’t actually been able to provide them with any information other than a name and vague description. The only other information they’d been able to provide was two words that ring loud in Cody’s mind now. Potentially dangerous.
Or: Obi-Wan touches something he shouldn't. Cody, as usual, has to help him out of the ensuing predicament. (And then feelings come to light.)

The former Customs Officer, who seldom thinks of himself as such – his name is Danil D. Appleby and these days he often goes by Dan – stares back at the person who has just joined him at the two-person table in the corner of the bar and brushes a strand of red hair that has fallen free of his hairtie out of his face.
Or:
Just over two years after Rydra Wong cracked the secret of Babel-17. In the brief space between traveling the stars, two strangers discuss life, love, and their places in the universe.

Summary
The Serpent of Eden, cursed to crawl on his belly.
A sudden, accidental transformation into his snake form leaves Crowley haunted. He fears what Aziraphale seeing the more monstrous side of him could do to their relationship. Fears forsaking any trace of humanity he’s acquired over six millenia and giving over to the nature of the form that was inflicted upon him.
Fortunately, Aziraphale won't let Crowley wallow in his inner turmoil all on his own. He has a plan. (Yes, of course that plan involves books.) And he's going to do everything in his power to help him overcome his fears. To become comfortable in his own scales. And to learn to love every part of himself. (As well as be loved in return.)

Summary
Eddie steps through the doorway and stops as soon as the door closes behind him.
What he wasn't expecting to see when he got back to his apartment was Adrian in his kitchen, focused intently on a pot of– Well. Something. A pair of grey sweatpants that Eddie's positive are his hang low across Adrian's hips and his white shirt is wrinkled, every last button undone. He’s standing in front of the stove looking like a dream.
His concentration remains unbroken by Eddie's entrance, and he thinks for a second that he really is dreaming.
Then, without turning, Adrian says, “Hey. Come and taste this,” and holds out a wooden spoon in the direction of the door.

Summary
“Oh, Eddie. My dear friend. Can this not just be a… a social call?” he practically purrs, cheshire grin stretching across sharp cheekbones. He spreads his arms wide in question. Or, in invitation.
“No.” Eddie spits the word out of the corner of his mouth, around the cigar between his teeth. He closes the remaining distance, tucking away the gun that had still been swinging limp in his hand as he does. “Social calls generally don’t involve breaking into my goddamn house,” he snarls. “So, let me try asking again. What the hell do you want.”

Summary
He figures it will be rather simple. All he has to do is send the right signal, and Crowley should be able to pick up on what he wants no problem. He’s a demon, after all. Seduction (not that that’s what this is) is something demons know all about.
And then, they can proceed straight to the kind of ethereal, mind-blowing sex the likes of which has never been seen by either heaven or hell.
It’s rather a perfect plan, if he says so himself.
(Or, five times Aziraphale tries to seduce Crowley and fails. And one time he stops trying so hard.)

“What happened?” he croaks, turning wide, beseeching eyes up at Aziraphale with barely-concealed panic. “What’s wrong?”
Aziraphale reaches shaky hands outward, running them across Crowley’s shoulders, down his arms, through the feathery waves of his hair. Crowley is solid and warm beneath his touch. An anchoring presence. Real.
“Crowley,” he gasps, small and broken. Cracks across skin.

“Crowley, please!” Aziraphale takes a desperate step forward, just barley holding back from reaching out again lest his touch is spurned once more. “My dear boy, I don’t even know why you’re upset.”
Crowley splutters.
“Don’t-?” He runs a hand through his hair with a heavy sigh. And, suddenly, he doesn’t look like he’s seconds away from throwing someone off the nearest bridge. He looks… tired. Vulnerable. Small.

“Oh, my dear.” Aziraphale shakes his head. “What are we going to do with you?”
And then, his hand runs tenderly down Crowley’s back. He twitches, entire body tensing. Aziraphale pays no mind. He just keeps languidly stroking Crowley’s scales, going with the grain, and- Oh. Oh, that’s nice.

“Wh-Where did you find that?” he asks, gaze not leaving the box.
Instead of answering, Crowley turns the box around, as if he really needed to see what was inside in order to know. Aziraphale flinches.
“What is this?” Crowley asks. He loathes the way he chokes on the words.
(Or, while searching through the bookshop, Crowley stumbles across something he shouldn’t have seen.)

“Hello, can I help you with anything in particular?” Aziraphale asks. And then, he freezes.
Inexplicably, impossibly, it’s the same man who had entered the shop the last time they’d been open. He’s sure of it. The man who he’d felt a rather insistent urge to garrote.
(Or, one of Aziraphale’s regular customers takes a little too much interest in Crowley, and Aziraphale feels somewhat unfamiliarly unpleasant about all of it.)
