It can be beautiful…” The sound Perpetua made then, wounded and savage, mouth aching to latch onto his brother’s unmarred flesh, sent shivers through Copia’s body.
Perpetua began to crawl up Copia’s torso, spindly, long limbs almost contorting as he came face to face with his brother. Copia and his breath mingled together in such a careful breeze, sharing lungs would have been easy, Perpetua thought.
“I’m going to show you how good it feels to be like me. Don’t be scared, Copia.”

He’s saying something in what Copia thinks is Latin, but he doesn’t recognize the phrasing. He assumes the ghouls are showing Perpetua some glamors, which he did not learn growing up like Copia had.
“Papa?!”
“What did you do?!”
Copia is about to start yelling at the ghouls, as much as he hates to do so, when he feels something rubbing on his leg.
He looks down and sees a small cat rubbing at his leg, looking up at Copia with big eyes.

The ghouls teach Perpetua a new glamor, and accidentally end up turning him into a cat. As a cat, Copia is the only one who lets him take care of him. How the fuck does he take care of a person turned into a cat?
