Summary
"Madara," Tobirama looks down at his feet, palms resting on the Uchiha's shoulders, voice as soft as the whisper of the curtains being stirred on the breeze, "I've always wanted children."
Madara's throat aches like he's taken a too-large bite of something too sweet. He spares his left hand to cup Tobirama's elbow, stroking the soft, inner skin with his thumb, following the opaque blue pattern of a vein. "I know."
"I would bear yours happily."
"Of course you would."
__Madara and Tobirama, a bonded pair between the strongest clans in Fire Country if not the nations, want to try for children. It's not the easiest process.

Summary
Madara is still standing in the same position, gawping at the now damaged door, when Hashirama rounds the corner, Hokage robes fluttering and bouncing with his easy steps. “Oh, Madara! Good afternoon! I was on my way to lunch, too– ah! You cut your hair!”
The cavalcade of nonsense parades onward. Madara turns to look at his large and boisterous friend with a half-defeated, half-maniacal scowl. “What just happened? Your fickle, rude brother saw me for one second and slammed the door in my face.”

“Have you been reading one of your cheap novels again?”
“Maybe, and maybe not,” Madara replies, nonchalant and shrugging as he presses his thumb into the bowl to set the leaves. “And mind yourself – they aren’t cheap, they’re limited. I’m simply curious about you, Tobirama, if you can believe it. I do harbor thoughts about you sometimes, after all.”
“I don’t know how to respond to that,” Tobirama says.

Madara finds out Tobirama was the subject of an arranged marriage. He's a bit jealous that he didn't get there first.

The Senju and Uchiha clans had not only ended centuries of war, they went ahead and formed an alliance unlike any seen in Fire Country before. A marriage alliance, and the subsequent village-wide wedding feast, served to showcase their joint wealth and confidence.
Meanwhile, Tobirama gains some personal insight into the Uchiha's faith and practices.

"Yes, fucking," Madara sounds exasperated in the darkness behind Tobirama's eyelids.

Tobirama goes about seducing Madara in the most awkward way possible - for the good of the village's future, of course. Madara has other ideas on how to go about it.

The princeling, unfortunately, was not trained for this part.
