Summary
Wemmbu and Eggchan are children held in a facility where subjects are ranked by their abilities. Eggchan is a Blue Rank, the lowest rank, while Wemmbu is the only known Purple Rank, a mysterious classification the scientists cannot fully understand.
Because of his unique rank, Wemmbu is subjected to constant experimentation and observation. The facility treats its subjects as test subjects rather than children, with ranks heavily influencing how they are perceived and treated. Despite the harsh conditions, Wemmbu and Eggchan remain close friends, supporting each other through life inside the facility.

He vaguely remembers saying that, but was it really him? If it was, he regretted saying it. He delayed dropping the spyglass. He regretted it. If only he had ended it earlier, he could’ve had fewer memories of the person who hurt him the most— of the person who healed him the most.
He wasn’t one to go against his own word, but he didn’t have a choice. He said he’d talk about Wifies like he was one of his closest friends—he was. Not anymore— but he never talked when someone asked him about Wifies. He had always avoided the topic whenever Theo asked, ‘What happened to Wifies?' or, 'Weren’t you always with that one guy?”
He physically couldn’t talk about Wifies without his feeling like ash and his eyes tearing up.
He hated thinking about him.“Please, Parrot, please. Give that to me, before you hurt yourself.”

Summary
Wind blew past him as he fell. It caressed his purple locks in the only violent nature he knew he'd endure again and again willingly. Wemmbu gazed at the skies painted in orange
(flaming)hues, for an entire second forgetting that he was pushed off...By the person he thought he could trust and turn his back to. Suddenly everything felt...
So far away.
It matters not. Not anymore even if it's a betrayal Wemmbu experiences yet another time. He felt tired. Bone deep exhausted. Perhaps that was the reason for Flame's next blows to be not as strong as usual.
In the end it doesn't really change anything. Wemmbu still feels that hollow exhaustion by the time he admits defeat, by the time he gives up his title of 'the strongest' and Lettuce comes to collect him. For some reason the idea of execution doesn't sound as bad as it did before.
Maybe he could even rest a bit. Or see Rejoice.
Or: Wemmbu is tired. Flame... for some godforsaken reason... Cannot just not care.
Set after/during his Prison arc and some crumbs of the invis arc.

Summary
In Unstable City, there's a lot of things that exist. Hybrids of all kinds, from dogs, to demons, to blazes. It's not unique, that's for sure, as the cities surrounding it, like Lifesteal City or Strength City, have their own quirks, and their own different hybrids of creatures and humans.
One thing Unstable City has that other cities do not, however, is an angel. Angels were hunted and killed down until near extinction for their abilities, which were said that one could receive if they ate an angel's heart.
It had been centuries since anyone's seen an angel, so that myth was yet to be proven.
Eggchan is an angel.
He works at a coffee shop. He does all the shifts, every last one, since the other employees all either ran off to be heroes, or died in the crossfire of the battles. Doesn't matter to Egg though. As long as he gets paid.
Staying safe isn't too hard.
Until heroes, vigilantes and villains alike decide that the coffee shop Egg works at is a great place to get coffee.

Eggchan will get his revenge. And he will make sure, the Law is gone for good.
