Summary
Tim may or may not have woven an elaborate web of lies to tie his plan of convincing the Waynes they didn't need to adopt him together with his plan of figuring out why Jason was alive & back in Gotham without telling anyone about it. It may or may not have caught up with him multiple times over the last half hour (worst 30 minutes of Tim's life that didn't involve someone he cared about dying, if you even care.) And he's only figured out maybe half of either problem...
Jason doesn't really know what to do with the kid he has been tricked (kicking & screaming the whole way, for the record) into caring about. On the one hand, Tim is clearly delusional about his place in the family (both their places, really,) and he was still crazy enough to hire a complete stranger to pretend to be his uncle; Tim got lucky it was Jason he found first. And now Jason's cover is blown, and there is definitely a breakdown in his near future, and Tim keeps looking at him with those sad puppy eyes...
Dick just wants his baby brother safe from Gotham's newest criminal mastermind, and is probably having the worst day of all.

Summary
Jason Todd goes to Titan's Tower to send a message. He won’t kill Robin there, no—that wouldn’t be poetic enough. Instead, he’ll torture the cuckoo to death and dump his body in the Nevada desert, never to be found—ensuring he has enough fingers and toes to mail Bruce for the next twenty years.
Only when the time comes, Jason…can’t do it.
Now he’s stranded 3,000 miles from Gotham with nothing but a smart-mouthed Robin, a beat-up pickup truck, and a dream.
You know what they say: take me home, country roads.

Jason goes to Titans Tower to attack Tim. Instead, the two road-trip across the country from San Francisco back to Gotham. Featuring greasy diner food, shitty motels, talks about trauma in the bed of a pickup truck, and as many metaphors about roads as I can possibly cram in here.

Begrudgingly, Damian tolerates his future brother's presence as he looks for a way home - all while doing everything to avoid meeting the rest of his family. He can't afford to change the past, after all.
