Summary
He remembers a dream he once had, a childish dream to sprout wings and fly, to go on a long journey far, far away. He’s older now. Wiser.
Old enough to know that his back is not weighed down by pitch black feathers and hollow bones, but by worry and shame and ten thousand other horrible things. It will never go away. One day, his back will break in two from all of it.
But for now, as Keiji rolls over in his bed, despite the fact that he should be getting up and studying, he allows himself to dream. He allows himself to close his eyes and see, clear as day, the beautiful jet-black wings that would carry him far, far away from here.
If I had wings, I could fly wherever I wanted. But I would be doomed to wander the world alone. Could I really do that? Abandon everybody else—my entire team—to go on a journey by myself? Could I leave behind Konoha, Komi, Washio, Sarukui?
Could I leave behind Bokuto-san?

Summary
Akaashi was only human. And Bokuto loved like a human. Too much, always bigger than what they could handle, until it was a need rather than a want.
“I could be with you forever,” was Akaashi’s confession, her sworn oath to this star. Her lips pressed to the calloused hands that had given the heaven’s every thread of colour they have ever desired. It was here, she had made it known: that Akaashi would not be going anywhere. That she was here for Bokuto and Bokuto alone.
For her faith, Akaashi was made divine, in all her selfishness, in all her human-like faults and flaws, and it was love that made her so. It was Bokuto’s love. Only hers.
On the seventh day of the seventh month, the story of Orihime and Hikoboshi was uttered along with prayers for clear skies, in the hopes that these two cosmic lovers could be reunited on the only day they were destined to meet.
Akaashi was not among those that prayed. Instead, she was waiting, still kneeling at the foot of the shrine where her one true love resided.

Summary
“Omi, was it?” And there’s the voice that Sakusa so desperately wishes he could ignore. He turns to meet the catcher’s gaze anyway.
“Kiyoomi. I prefer Sakusa.”
“Right, Omi. Ya pitch?”
“According to my contract.”
“Listen,” Atsumu adjusts himself once more so he’s relaxed along the chair rather than sitting on the cushion properly—legs again propped onto the armrest, “I’m gonna be yer catcher nine times outta ten and I love this game. We can both at least agree that a workin’ relationship would be beneficial for the both of us.”
***
finally called up to the majors, kiyoomi is thrilled to be playing baseball just as he always dreamed. until he realizes that playing at this level includes playing nice with miya atsumu—baseball's walking media circus. surely the media couldn't be that wrong about the hot-head catcher, right?

Summary
Sakusa didn't feel lonely. He liked being alone. And when he felt the need for socialization, he could always turn to his cousin, who always responded with excitement that he'd been the one to initiate contact.
"I have you." He said without hesitation. "You're completely more than enough for me and I really don't need more people in my life."
Komori smiled sadly.
"I'm glad to finally hear from you that you appreciate my presence, but that attitude isn't healthy. You can't have just one person in your life." Motoya said in a rare, serious voice. "When you're dependent on just one person, and they leave, you'll be completely alone."
Komori Motoya, Sakusa Kiyoomi's closest and only friend, has always wanted his cousin to make friends, but Kiyoomi has always refused, saying he doesn't need anyone else in his life. When Komori falls into a coma after a car accident, Sakusa begins to seriously consider his cousin's request and makes him a promise: he will try to make friends. He doesn't expect how deep the bonds will be.

Summary
After the sign is flipped to "Closed," in the half-lit shop lobby of Onigiri Miya five old friends meet for food and conversation.
Four nights across the month of June. It's about love, or the lack thereof, about building community and sharing pain, about pride and who you are, and about terrible, awful, gaudy, rainbow clothes.
