"isn't he pretty, hyung?" he hears sunoo ask, murmuring into his neck, and jungwon's eyes open slowly. jungwon blinks his tears away to see jay across from them. his brain is too slow, made bovine from the overstimulation, and jay's features harden.
no longer wide-eyed and disconcerted, jay no longer seeks an explanation or scolds them. instead, jay looks straight into jungwon's eyes, and asks, "again?"
the clouds clear up. although jungwon can't apprehend what his clenched jaw or his narrow eyes mean with certainty, jungwon has a dim idea. again comes the squirmy sensation in the pit of his stomach and jungwon only makes a pathetic, whimpered noise.
jay scoffs, a sardonic tilt to his mouth as he looks away. "you're fucking kidding me." he mutters as he walks away, abandoning whatever he came out for.
