Summary
When Lister closes his eyes he's back in Liverpool, three million and twelve years ago, listening to records and smoking fags and dreaming about the day when it would be his voice playing on every station in the galaxy.
The last note rings out, and in the silence someone speaks. Lister cannot believe it's him. "Can you teach me?"
And, even more startling, when Rimmer says yes.
After Lister finds a new guitar on a derelict ship, it's up to Arnold J. Rimmer to save the crew from utter insanity.

In the medibay, when Lister thinks about it, it makes sense. Just like everything else in the ship, Rimmer's lightbee is teetering on the edge of falling apart.
It doesn't help when a mechanoid smashes it to pieces, of course.
