"Is it weird that I don't want you to forget me again?"
Keith's voice was quiet when he spoke. "I don't know how I could."
"Oh."

Summary
Unease gurgles in Lance’s stomach. Keith doesn’t know he’s asexual. He doesn’t know that the tipping point they’re leading up to, all this closeness and comfort, doesn’t have any golden prize at the end of the fall. It’s just the continued existence of the way they are, forever and ever. And Lance loves that. Lance wants that. But does Keith want that too?
---
As Lance and Keith become closer to each other, the time comes for Lance to acknowledge the looming fact that he is asexual. The issue is: Keith doesn't know that. No one knows that. And it might quite end things between them.

Summary
“Lance?” Keith says, at the very same time that Lance reaches out and pulls Keith down. Keith, unprepared, lets out a shrill sound as he collapses on top of Lance, scrambling to pull himself off. Lance is sick, and drenched, and shivering, and Keith, as the only one with a clear head, feels he has some responsibility.
Oh.
Before Keith can get very far, Lance cups his face, pressing their foreheads together. Keith’s eyes flit rapidly between his own. Keith seems to realise Lance isn’t planning on letting him go. His face turns a little red. “Your eyes are very brown.”
Keith, not Lance.
“It’s you,” Lance says, apropos of everything.

Summary
He still wanted to shake Lance senseless. Still wanted to force every stupid self-destructive thought out of his head permanently. But not like this. Not while Lance was bleeding through half-finished bandages and barely standing upright.
“Come here,” he said more gently.
Lance looked at him warily for half a second before the exhaustion apparently won out. Keith guided him carefully down onto the bathroom floor instead, maneuvering him until Lance sat between his knees with his back angled toward Keith’s chest.
The position felt immediately, dangerously intimate. Lance’s bare back rested inches from his chest now, warm and solid and distractingly close. Keith could smell the sharp disinfectant still lingering in the air beneath the cleaner scent of soap and the faint metallic trace of blood.Or
After a mission gone wrong in all the right ways, Keith storms into Lance’s room ready to start a fight over another reckless stunt, only to discover Lance is far more injured than anyone realized. What starts as anger turns into patching wounds on a bathroom floor, old insecurities dragged into the open, and the realization that they’ve both been holding back too much for too long.
