Summary
What Mika expects to be a pleasant—albeit, unusual—date in VR with Shu quickly turns into a nightmare when his partner changes his life forever with one terrible act.
Except it wasn't his partner. But his body doesn't know that, and now he's irrationally afraid of the person who loves him most.

Summary
Shu just had high expectations, he knew that and he was used to it … wasn’t he? This was what Shu had always been like, it wasn’t new to him. Shu was harsh and strict but he only meant well. He didn’t mean it personally, he didn’t intend to be mean with Mika, he just wanted to help him to be better.
But there were some days where Mika wasn’t so sure about that. Days were Shu’s words cut deeper than he meant to, where his strictness was overwhelming. On those days Mika couldn’t differentiate anymore between Shu’s usual demeanor or if he was truly upset.
Mika knew he was never going to be perfect enough for Shu.

Summary
Shu has returned to Paris recently and starts to miss Mika. He starts to realize everything he's ever inflicted emotionally on Mika and doesn't have any idea of how to make up for any of it. He starts having hallucinations and the guilt that comes with it consumes him.

He sways, feels the ground move unsteadily beneath his feet. His head is spinning, spinning, spinning—like a washing machine on the highest setting. His vision greys out for a second, then slides back, and he can see the barest hints of Aira’s terrified expression.
Before he drops like a puppet with his strings cut, he remembers mouthing one thing: Don’t tell Kaoru.
