The flavor of a sharpened dagger was in itself a form of temptation. Harvested internally by a god they couldn’t physically perceive, Two Time was walking themself into an illusion of sustenance. The pale moonlight crawled through the leaves of trees like they were a trapped animal having holes poked through their enclosure. Their hideous stature remained trembling and hunched over as they dragged themself to what they thought was a ceremony of their love. Not for Azure, but for The Spawn. There was no love without sacrifice. It was just as Amarah had said in the temple years ago. A sacrifice is the strongest prayer and repentance of them all. A loose giggle wormed its way out of their mouth. What a beautiful act it was going to be!
