Summary
In a world where anything people draw/write on their own skin appears on their soulmate’s, when Marceline was 10, she got her first message from her soulmate - "I hate you". After starting off on the wrong foot and with her mother's passing, she made a pact with her soulmate to remain pen pel only. The two soulmates do not believe in the nonsense they call destiny and will do anything to avoid each other.
Years later, Marceline found herself falling for Bonnie, someone who is polar opposite to her. Marceline believes Bonnie is the one who will prove the universe is wrong, that people are not only mean for their soulmate. While Bonnie is hiding the fact that she knows she is Marceline's soulmate.
