Every eye snapped to Katsuki.
The blond had sat up straight and stared down Eijirou’s sire with a new flame flickering in his eye.
“Prove it, boy?”
He stood and walked the short distance to stand in front of the dragon woman at least two heads taller. He didn’t balk or even seem intimidated. He stood his ground with an easy confidence.
“Mating Duel.”
When Eijirou's parents accepted the arranged mating they thought that Katsuki Bakugou was going to be an alpha. A strong alpha who could protect and mate with their omega son. But the man they later meet is anything but an alpha, though it seems he's very willing to prove otherwise.

A smile twitched at the corner of Eijirou’s lips as he walked further into the room. He loved these men so much.
“It’s nothing really. Just a little Christmas present.” He held out the box. It was wrapped in snowflake and snowman wrapping paper with a big red bow.
Katsuki took the box as he turned to lean against Tetsu’s chest. The taller man hooked his chin over his shoulder and wrapped an arm around his cinched waist.
The paper was quickly torn into, bow tossed aside and lid lifted to reveal a photo album. It was a simple book made of dark brown leather-like material, with just a card in the front pocket with the letters TKE.
“What’s this hun?” Tetsu picked up the album and flipped open the cover.
Crimson and onyx eyes widen in unison as they lock onto the first picture in the album.
It’s Eijirou. A lot of Eijirou. When he shot the Manly Calendar several months prior he bribed one of the photographers to take some extra pictures.

Katsuki stopped chewing, his fork hovering inches from a piece of wilted lettuce. He stared at her, feeling a sudden regret for ever opening his mouth. Ten minutes ago, she had been a sympathetic listener, but now she looked entirely too amused by his suffering.

Eijirou nodded, sounding it out a few times. "Sounds good...uh, what about you, man?"
This was strange. He'd never had to introduce himself to Eijirou before. "Bakugou Katsuki."
"Oh nice! What are we, dude?"
Katsuki's mind went blank. What were they? Boyfriends, that was it, yeah, that was right. Though Katsuki wondered if amnesia Eijirou was homophobic, that'd be something. But he was really hesitating. He didn't know why at first until Eijirou lowered the blanket completely and Katsuki stared for a second, at his open curious face and messed up hair and questioning stance. No matter what state he was in, he always looked perfect to Katsuki.
"We're friends."
This was for the best.
"Just friends."
He'd been wanting to let Eijirou go for so long anyway, so what better way than if Eijirou didn't get hurt, at all?
Katsuki doesn't think he deserves Eijirou, and it kills him inside. Then one day Eijirou gets knocked out in an attack, and when he wakes up not knowing who Katsuki is, it's his chance to finally end this without it seeming like a break-up.
