Or was the mold too small for them?” His ears flattened against his head, but still drinking the liquid that twitched his taste buds, waiting amusedly for the reaction his majesty would have.
“Just so you know, my creation is perfect! And if you didn’t know, Bellhop, the best things come in small bottles.” The blond winks as he takes a sip from his companion’s bottle of rye whiskey and pours himself a drink, taking a sniff before drinking and praying that the taste isn’t too bitter. And yet he found himself grimacing at the strong flavor. “Now I understand why you’re so bitter. We’re even.”
Or Lucifer goes for a drink, finds Alastor and then they make out.

Summary
Alastor has been the conductor of the orchestra for years, youngest ever to hold the position, thank you kindly. When the Board pushes for an open audition, he was prepared for the tone-deaf clout chasers to waste his time.
He was not prepared for Lucifer, the man who ruined his mid-morning coffee run, to reignite the fire in his heart that once drove him to compose. He was not expecting the return of the muse he lost years ago to be accompanied by violin concertos and dazzling sapphire eyes.And Lucifer? He just needed to get out of his newly-leased divorcee pad and figured the old violin he found amidst the boxed up ruins of his marriage was better than pickleball.
