Tall and blond. Richard noticed that first. Probably natural, the hair that is, since the curls poking out underneath his western hat weren’t bleached-colored. His height, too, jesus. It wasn’t hard to be taller than Richard, most people were, but he easily towered well over a foot over him, and Richard was the one on the porch. Built like Adonis, hard chest and rippling, swollen arms underneath a flannel, thighs thick with muscles covered by clad jeans, and a strong, square jaw. He had a frustrated hand on his hip, one knee bent that rose the hem of his pant leg, exposing a well-loved pair of boots.
Turn around, Richard silently pleaded, I don’t even know you, but turn around—
