“Why were you indifferent to me if we repeated what we did on New Year’s yesterday?” Vi asked.
Caitlyn shrugged.
“I’ve thought it through. I need to relieve stress somehow, and so far, this has proven to be the most effective solution for me. Besides, I think you enjoyed it too,” she added. Vi couldn’t argue with that.
“So, what would you say if we continued? Casually.”
Vi sighed. With her hands on her hips, she stared at the ground and paced back and forth irritably. Finally, she made a decision.
“I’m in.”OR
Vi was perfectly content with her life and didn't give Caitlyn Kiramman a second thought—until that New Year's party, where they made out all night. Summary
“When did you start smoking?” Caitlyn asks, brushing the stray crumbs away from her lips. Vi’s not sure if she realizes that she’s leaning further and further into her space.
Her sapphire iris is being completely swallowed up by her pupils, the area around it reddening. She’s a little flushed and her lips look incredibly soft.
“A while after I stopped drinking.”
Caitlyn hums, but she doesn’t lean back satisfied. She keeps staring, her head tilted slightly at Vi as she wipes her mouth a few more times. So proper.
Vi holds the eye contact. Not because she wants to, but because that just seems to be what happens.
“Do you have family around here?”
The question takes a minute to compute since Vi’s a little distracted by the strength of Caitlyn’s nose.
“Something like that.”
Vi should be annoyed. She is, actually.
Her smoke sessions are supposed to be chill, relaxing and quiet. Not lonely, alone. Now Caitlyn’s asking questions she doesn’t really need answers to.
And she’s leaning into Vi’s space like she wants to be there.
“You’re so interesting, Vi.”
Not hot. Not cool. Not sexy.
Interesting.

Kai'sa has never been very good at taking care of herself. Life as a lawyer constantly trying to prove herself has her running herself ragged, working to the bone until she doesn't have the time to so much as take a proper lunch break. Luckily for her, a food truck is near-permanently stationed near the entrance to her firm, and it has the most incredible mozzarella sticks Kai'sa has ever tasted.
The fact that she's secretly in love with the woman selling them certainly has nothing to do with it.

Summary
Just one more class to graduate. All Vi needs is to fulfill these last credits and she is finally free. Lucky for her she can spend her last semester learning about lesbians, getting her final credits, and cruising her way to a degree.
The problem? There is no class about lesbians, she’s not allowed to withdraw, and every time the high strung blue-haired girl tries to speak with her Vi loses all mental functioning. One semester. 10 weeks. She just has to survive 10 weeks.
