"That's nice," Tenna murmurs, then cracks an eye open. "No, seriously. What are we talking about?"
Spamton blinks at him, hand stilling on his shoulder. "What?"
"Okay, again, do not stop. Also, explain why you are flushed and... I think you're flirting with me? You are, right?"

Summary
Wade hurls himself out to sea and finds himself in a desert. The stars curl around themselves, and again it's Nate and Wade in the spotlight as they settle.
Nate's been dragged back from the brink of death by Wade, and Wade continues to be on his best behaviour by killing only occasionally. Eventually, it happens. The whole thing falls off the cliff-edge of tension. Somewhere in the fog of his brain, he kills Barat, a known terrorist on Providence. This comes much to everyone's surprise, including his own.
Set just post issue 14, ie this takes place before Enema of the State.

Summary
Venom only fed a couple times a week at first, but that was still too much. Decapitation made an obvious pattern. They covered their tracks, of course, but it wasn't long before the news was covering a possible serial killer.
Sorry, Eddie, Venom said as Eddie stared at the TV in a bar, reading the captions. Need brains. Need the chemicals in them.
"It's okay, Ve-- it's okay, love," Eddie reassured, catching himself. Talking to himself in public was one thing, but talking to an entity named Venom was something else. "We're still figuring it out."
Love, Venom repeated.
Eddie was still trying to read the captions on the news, to see how much of a clue the police might have.
"Hmm?"
Called me 'love', Venom said, sounding unsure of what to make of this development.
