“It’s fine. The rooms next to yours are empty. I checked. No shoes outside, no ‘do not disturb’ sign, no nothing. We’ll be fine,” Chan says, urgency clear in his voice. At that, Minho stills his incessant touches, his face twisting into a strange expression.

This seemed plausible to them all because one of the rumors amongst the palace had been that the advisors were looking to send Chan off to a farther kingdom to serve in their Royal Court instead. A high promotion and expense free life promised to him at the cost of ending his relationship with their courts only heir.
Truthfully, his skills improved because he’s just trying to keep himself distracted from thoughts about his omega walking around with his tummy round from carrying their pup.
