Warm, and soft, and perhaps, pretty, a deep red, but not anywhere near the quality of clothing that a convalescent required. This cloak would be for later, when Maitimo’s skin was not yet paper-thin and prone to tearing, and the weight of the fabric could be borne without the bowing of his neck or any stumbling.
