Summary
By the fifth failed attempt, his hands were shaking. He shoved the cardigan off entirely and threw it across the room.
Donna jumped. “Oi! No need for dramatics—”
“Too slow!” he snapped.
Jack raised a hand. “Hey, it’s fine—take a breath, yeah?”
But the Doctor was already wild-eyed, one sock half-falling off, mouth working uselessly as he tried to say something, anything, and couldn’t.
-------------
A slow-burn post-failed regeneration injury fic about love, loss, and the long road to recovery—maybe. Or: companions taking care of an injured, disabled Doctor after he failed to regenerate in EoT.

Summary
This story starts during the night after the tragic ending of the Triwizard Tournament in Book 4.
According to the “A Daily Herb for Everyday Ailments” book that Minerva used to consult for her regular stress headaches, lavender could be used to treat an array of disagreements. Its main uses, however, were listed as follows: soothing pain, reducing stress, and relieving insomnia. She had to admit, in hindsight, that it made a lot of sense.

Summary
Headmaster Snape had had his eyes on the ultimate goal and no time to feel sorry for himself for a long time, this Hellish year being no exception. That was until the hatred in Minerva McGonagall's eyes reminded him of all of his sins... nearly breaking him in the process. He just didn't think the last straw would have been about a stupid Christmas Dinner.
This is my participation for the 1st week of SnolidaysI played with the suggested prompts and inserted all of them in the fic to spice the challenge up a little. They're bolded in the text.
This was inspired by one of my (very) old french text that's still up on ff.net Le voleur de Noël - if you're curious (and read french!!)

Summary
It had all happened on Wednesday 3rd of September 1973; Minerva committed the date to memory. She would always be amazed that this discussion could happen in the first place. If the boy hadn’t been unconscious, would they even have learnt anything before it was too late?
Guardian fic but Snape is the ward in this one. AU set in the Marauders Era. Rated T to be safe.

Summary
It’s winter in Broadchurch. Almost Christmas. Grey sky, short, cold days. But wait! Is that a snowflake?
DS Ellie Miller and DI Alec Hardy are sent out to investigate a shooting accident between neighbours in a small town. Routine job, easily done, even with all the snow.
But with Miller seriously sick and their personal relationship on the verge of a breaking point it gets nasty and more so, as the gun-owner turns out to be a dangerous threat. Every time our detectives think it can’t get any worse, they spiral down a step further into a life-threatening adventure.
Beware, this is not a cosy 'winter-wonder-land' story.
