Summary
First, a short personal note. I have not written a story since the war in my country started. I have written so many before... But now, with this drama, with these characters, and with the way real life is going, I'm in a great need of a happy ending.
And my stance on the matter is that A Splendid Match did have a perfect happy ending, one that matches the beginning of the show and the dramatic scale of the last few episodes. I honestly cannot imaging them switching to pastels and chirping birds after that fire shot...
And yet, I do understand the desire for more, for a 'peace after the storm' and 'they lived happily ever after' closure. Since it was not given to us, I wrote one. This one I wrote for myself, so be gentle =)
