Summary
Electric tension wired all his joints and ligaments taut, and Loki couldn’t help but whine as bolts of it emanated from the back of his neck, all the way down his spine. He grimaced sharply as he tried to shake it all out, cracking his neck, but all it did was move the tension further down his back, and he blinked heavily as he tried to right himself. He could feel himself trembling.
“Did you see it?” Loki asked, rather redundantly. Mobius was staring at Loki like he’d seen a murder take place right where Loki was standing.
“Yeah, I saw it,” Mobius confirmed, tearing his eyes away.
“Yeah? What does it…” Loki stopped himself, unsure what he was really asking, “Well, how does it look?”
Mobius was evidently lost for words. “It looks—I mean, how—how does it feel?”
Loki cracked his neck from side to side, but it didn’t do anything. He sighed, increasingly woozy. And for some reason—for some damn reason, he lied. “It’s not that bad.”~~~
aka, time slipping looks like it REALLY fucking hurts. And guess what? It does. So here, here's a whumpy fic that doesn't shy away from the fact that YES, Loki feels pain like anyone else would in his situation!

“Do you literally ever shut up?” Mobius asked, and Loki snapped his mouth closed almost audibly as Mobius’s fingers tightened in his hair, slick with shampoo suds. “Just relax. It might not be ‘necessary,’ but I want to do it. I want to take care of you. So just let me.”aka the one where Loki thinks they're going to be doing something much more exciting than washing his hair, and then the dreaded FEELINGS make their appearance. Unbelievable.

“You don’t know what I was going to ask,” Clark said with a hint of a smile. “Maybe I just wanted to congratulate you on catching the Film Freak.”
Bruce gave him a flat look.
“Or maybe I think I can help.”
“With a case of vandalism?”
Clark stepped in front of him. “It’s not vandalism and you know it, detective.”
“And what makes you say that?”
“If it were vandalism it would be something a lot more juvenile. To the point. It wouldn’t claim there were seventeen missing kids. That’s public outcry.”
“Is that so?”
“That and I tried to do a story on the growing number of homeless children last month and I got shut down. According to the last count, the numbers have been decreasing, but there’s been no change in policies, no extra funding to CPS, or shelters, or even an increase in the number of inmates in the juvenile detention center. So where are they going?”
Detective Bruce Wayne may have the highest solve rate in Gotham, but if he wants to solve this case, he’ll need the help of an elusive street kid, and while Dick Grayson always lands on his feet, he usually lands himself right into trouble.

Summary
As an eight year old Robin, Dick had traversed the tightrope of good and evil effortlessly, understanding how to navigate the world's morality in the way that only a child could.
