Inho is a lonely, rich, middle-aged man. He has everything anyone could ever want. You name it, he has it.
But he feels empty.
Over a decade after his divorce, he still longs for a partner. In a tipsy, softened haze, he opens the dating app he installed and starts setting up his profile.
Gihun, on the other hand, is reckless and in his late twenties.
He’s been using the app for hookups for years. After a particularly messy one, he scrolls mindlessly for his next thrill and stumbles across Inho’s profile. Something about it feels charming.
Both men swipe right for very different reasons.

“Police!” A loud crash of police barging in interrupts Jung-bae’s sentence.
Before Gi-hun even has an opportunity to process what is happening, his wrists are being held by another person’s, handcuffs clicking onto them.
”H-hey!” Gi-hun tries to twist his face around to see the officer. “I didn’t do anything, I swear!”
However, Gi-hun doesn’t get an answer.
Great. He’s already in enough debt as it is, and now he’s got this on his record.
The police officer comes up beside him to escort him out, and oh my god. Gi-hun’s brain short circuits as he lays his eyes on what must be the most good-looking man ever.

Seong Gi-hun is a chronic gambler. When he ends up at one of his gambling bars again, the session is cut short by the law and a hot cop.

Gi-hun couldn’t tell how long he had stayed staring at the blank wall, when the Front Man finally came for him.
“You refuse to eat.” The unnatural voice accused, the weight of his deep voice dripping down towards Gi-hun’s body and making him want to vomit; the venom in his own voice ringing through the room when his chapped lips finally parted.
“Fuck you.”
After a few moments, he could only hear the sound of the Front Man’s steps coming closer and closer towards his withdrawn body; the slow breathing from the voice modulator echoing behind him and buzzing in his ears. Gi-hun pushed his knees further in to his chest. He flinched when he heard the clink of the metal tray as it was placed down beside him. From the corner of his eye, he could see the billowing steam of the food, the smell provoking the deep burning in his stomach.
Jung-bae’s voice whispered in his ear.
“Look, you’ve got to eat. You know what they say. Eat up, even on your deathbed. Come on. Ahhh.”
Takes place immediately after the Season 2 finale.
