Summary
The 2012TMNT fall through a portal and land in the Rise universe; they are found by Rise-Raph. On landing they were hit by a potion that rejuvenated them, now they have to cope with their adult minds with their childish emotions/bodies and without their weapons and now they have to adapt to the Rise world, they are faced with new enemies, new places, lots of tears and a completely different family dynamic, how will the four of them get back home? How will Sensei-Splinter react to his sons not coming home?

"Yeah, so there’s this weird thing with Leonardo, right? And maybe Leo’s imagining it, but he’s pretty sure his counterpart actually hates him...But, that’s crazy, right? Leo has his fair share of haters, but being hated by himself? Okay, that’s not entirely new either, but you get the point. Leonardo hates Leo, and he doesn’t really know what to do with that.
It’s not that Leo loves Leonardo either, but he wouldn’t say he hates him. He’s just… painfully, grossly, achingly jealous of his natural leadership skills that Leo can’t even dream of living up to."
Or, through Mikey's rusty experience opening interdimensional portals, he accidentally pulls alternate versions of themselves into their world with no way home. Everyone is adjusting pretty well except for Leonardo, who finds himself constantly at odds with Leo because of his drastically different leadership style and carefree nature. It comes to a head one day in a huge blow up, leaving Leo determined to mend and build a relationship with his counterpart no matter what.

Donnie and Leo are transported to 2012 TMNT, we’ve all seen this before. Except Donnie has no idea where their brother in blue is, instead they’re stuck in this cage with… other mutants? Yokai? Staring at them like they’re a wild animal. And, to be fair, they did hiss at these guys when they first landed in that weird lab, but the staring is uncomfortable… whatever, they need to figure out how to get out of here before their twin has a nervous breakdown, then they can focus on where they are… IS THAT A GIANT RAT?!
