Felix's parents send him on a trip to Camp Amazing, a place for anti-social adults to learn how to function socially run by an eccentric Ringleader, his crazy husband, and his creepy son. He didn't run when he had the chance, so now he has to deal with nosy people, problematic reunions, an inconsistently sane therapist, crazy table-top role-playing adventures, and people who seem determined not to let him push them away.
Surely he won't blow everything up in the process.
Or—A closeted and deeply troubled trans-woman who can't stop exploding in dramatic self-destructive fashion learns to let others in and stop hating herself.

“You hate the closing shift on Tuesdays and Wednesdays because it is always ‘dead’, and when I passed by and saw you working through the window, I thought it would be friendly to stop in and make things more ‘alive’.”

Shikadai watched as she turned to face him, her hands gripping several items shakily. In her hands was a Konoha forehead protector, as well as a few scrolls and brushes. All covered heavily in blood. Chocho swallowed, as she held them tighter. "They were, in... the puddle too. I think it's his."
Inojin's blood poured all out on one of the canvases he would have fondly sketched in his freetime.
__________In which Inojin is captured on a routine genin mission. Due to circumstances, he is thought to be dead, as four years pass. Now sixteen years old, Inojin is recovered by the Leaf Village. While he has endured much, he has many people there for him.

Rescued, but imprisoned, Zuko finds himself no further from death on a water tribe ship. Sokka, the chief, would see him bleeding out on the boards of the deck as justice. He's a fire bender, the evil of the war that his father rages through their world. Zuko hasn't been a part of that war. Not for years. Now he's thrust back into it against his will, finding himself fighting on a side he never expected to be a part of. Maybe he'll find a cause worth fighting for; someone worth fighting for.
