Summary
a collection of poems from around September of 2024 to now. I posted some of these on tumblr or livejournal but a lot of them just stayed in my files or on paper for a long time so this is how i compile them in one place formally. i tried to keep them in chronological order from earliest to most recent but not everything is perfect because of all the different places these were written. each chapter is a different poem and each chapter title is the name of the poem.

Summary
“What’s happening between us-” Simon states, pointing his index finger at his own chest before redirecting it towards Grace’s, pressing into the leaner's flesh with his long, sharp fingernail. “It’s just sex, nothing more.” Grace feels like his heart is being torn in a million pieces. “But what about-” Ryland felt like he was choking his words out through the tears. The same tears Simon used to wipe away. “Two men cannot love each other. It’s just not natural." Simon stated, an air of finality lacing his tone.

College dropout Ryland Grace has been living on the road in his campervan since he stopped being able to cope with his best friend Rocky's long-term coma diagnosis. That was over a year ago. Now he is far too dependent on alcohol and he has a routine for every small town he stops in. Get in. Get a drink. Get out. Don't get attached. Fairly simple, right? Well, that's until he stumbles into Simon during one of his routine, one-time stops in Eden, Montana, and suddenly maybe getting attached to someone is worth the risk of losing them.

Summary
On the ground, just a few steps in front of you, was Grace, chest bare and heaving. His slightly tanned skin was tinted with red, beginning at his cheeks and running all the way down the curves of his body, the rest of his skin hidden behind the pants of his suit. You could see the sheen of sweat layering atop his skin from how it glistened in the light.
With each heave of his chest, his abs convulsed, almost as if the movement sent shockwaves across his body. His eyes were squeezed shut, mouth agape with each shuttered exhale, but the sudden piercing blue of his half-lidded eyes shook you out of your shock.
“Please,” he begged, peering up at you with tearful, pleading eyes. “I can’t…” he panted, “I can’t take it… much longer.”
