“Yeah,” Dean sighed, reluctantly, “so where are we going?”
“Miami…” Sam began, and Dean let out a whoop of delight.
“Miami? Alright! Beaches, bikinis, and booze, here we come! Next time, Sammy, lead with that. ‘Bout time we got a break…”
“… Arizona,” Sam finished, dryly, “Miami, Arizona.”
Dean faltered, face falling, staring at his brother in dismay; “There’s a Miami in Arizona?”
“It’s an old copper mining town.”
“So… no beaches?”
“No.”
“No bikinis?”
“Probably not.”
Dean sighed; “Just booze, then.”
“And a sixteen-hour drive to get there,” Sam nodded, looking far too amused for Dean’s liking.
Dean sighed; “I’ll grab my stuff. Meet you at the car in ten.”

Summary
Dean and Sam head out to a section of the Appalachian Trail. Six hikers have died in six weeks, and the boys think they are on the hunt for a werewolf. What they actually encounter is a creature far more ancient, and, in defeating it, set off a whole train wreck of events including a werewolf, a witch, a tomb, a restless spirit, a cursed object, and poor Sam caught right in the middle of an archaic vendetta.
Contains descriptions of injury and suffering, hurt Sam, hurt/comfort, and lots of caring/protective/worried Dean.
