When Dennis shows up outside Robby and Jack’s house the next night, it’s against his will. Never mind that it had been his feet that had carried him here, that it had been he who had made up his mind and started the short journey to their neighborhood. His body appears to have betrayed him. Jack isn’t working tonight, has the next two nights off, actually, so Dennis knows they’ll both be here. Robby had left the hospital before Dennis had. There’s really no hope of backing out of this.

Bucky made a living as a fairly famous clairvoyant, but the futures he saw were rarely anything important. That's why when he met a hotel desk clerk and saw a flash of the man's future, he didn't think a lot about it. Maybe if he had realized how important the vision really was, he would have made some different choices afterward.
(In short, Bucky sees Steve's future, has a one night stand with him, and accidentally causes their futures to be forever intertwined.)
