Summary
When Mako is told he has been personally picked by Prince Wu to be his new bodyguard, Mako decides to make it his mission to get the Earth Prince to fire him so he can return to his work.
Wu sees Mako in an article and decides that he is the perfect person to be his new bodyguard. The others in the past have been mean, judgemental, and terrible at their jobs. But this Firebender with the intense eyes and strong silhouette seems like he can get the job done.

It was effortless to adore someone, to let thoughts of them fill his every waking thought, to imagine the woman he loved curled against him at night, warm and safe in his arms.
Loving Korra had been easy. Being in a relationship with her had been almost impossible.

Eventually they reach the end of the tunnel. Bolin bends open the final exit, shoving the rock aside with desperate strength.
Only to find open air.
They were standing on the side of the temple cliff with nowhere to go. Just then another burst of lava comes rushing toward them.
This is it.
During his time with the Triple Threat Triad, the older guys used to tell stories about their near-death experiences. They always said that when the moment came, your entire life would flash before your eyes like a fast-moving film. But as Bolin faces the lava and the dead end in front of him, he does not see his whole life. He thinks of only one thing.

"What's weird?" Mako asks behind him, nearly sending Bolin jumping out of his skin.
"You," Korra says bluntly, grabbing a new fruit filled alcoholic monstrosity from the tray in Mako's hands. She takes a long sip from the curly straw before continuing, "Bolin thinks it's weird you have a phone. And friends. And an actual wardrobe."
'Traitor' Bolin mouths at her. Korra shrugs, unrepentant.Wu changes Mako's life for the better, Bolin notices...eventually.

Summary
Hans is rapidly starting to hate Ruthard Palace. He’s sick of staring at nothing but the Ruthard’s dour decorative choices, the same miserable colours and motifs in Kuttenberg that he’d had plenty of time to grow weary of in Maleshov. He’s sick of not being able to say this with the would-be scion of the Ruthards somehow always within earshot, lest he cause offence. He's sick of Brabant, who he’s now spent far too much time with and has heard every one of his stories at least twice. He’s sick of Žižka and Hynek cutting him out of conversations, out of decisions, out of his rightful place at the table.
He’s been here for barely three days, but if he has to remain within these four walls for even ten minutes more, he’s going to lose his mind.
Henry co-ordinates a jailbreak to give Hans a small reprieve from his effective house arrest, and Hans gets a glimpse into what Henry was doing in Kuttenberg while he was being held in Maleshov.
