老神父静静地听着，他等了一会，对着耶稣神像发问：“他人与你又有什么关系呢。”
里卡多身体一颤，猛的从掌心中抬头。
“他们认为是对是错，与你又有什么关系呢？”老神父又问。
“Father …. ” 里卡多喃喃，心跳如锤子一般重重地敲在他的胸膛上。
“难道所有人认为你错了，你就真的也跟着认为你错了吗？”老神父再问，“你的心，是真的认为自己错了吗？可你明明不觉得自己错了。”
“我 … 我 …… ”
“真是因为你不觉得自己错 ，但又渴望自己认错，无限地贬低自己，伤害自己，不苦吗？ ”老神父的手轻轻地拍了拍里卡多的手臂 ，“我光是听听，就替你觉得苦。”
里卡多发着抖，他这是才后知后觉地涌上了委屈——像是在外面受了欺负，终于被人注意到时的孩子一样： “……苦 。 ”
“你也是人 ，当然也会 痛会苦 。 ”
“可我的父母 … ” 里卡多干涩地说，他勉强着自己露出个笑容，“我妈妈病了，因为我的事情——我真的不忍心 …. 我很痛苦 … 她那么爱我 ，可是我让她失望了 …. 我甚至 没有办法控制自己一次次伤害她 —— ”
“那你会打她吗？你会骂她吗？”
“我当然不会！”
“那你为你自己做出选择，你为什么会伤害到她？”.......
“如果一件事，你认为它是错的，你爱的人认为是错的，世界都认为是错，也许连主也认为是错的，但你依然义无反顾地想要去做，那你是为了什么呢？”

“No.” Morgana shook her head, “No, see you don’t understand.” Morgana took him by the shoulder and pulled him close as if to divulge a secret. “Arthur Pendragon does not give good gifts. He is actually the worst gift-giver in all of England.”
“Oh come on, the scarf isn’t that bad.” Merlin said, now kind of insulted for the piece of fabric.
“Merlin, the scarf is perfect for you. It’s a good gift. Arthur doesn’t give good gifts.” -

Summary
The body of a Prince was not like anyone’s. His hand only ever held others in a firm handshake, and rarely without gloves. Sometimes he would raise the delicate hands of noble ladies to his lips for a brief kiss, but it was all out of propriety. He rarely touched others, but what was even rarer was others touching him. The only ones who dared were his knights, and even they only smacked his shoulder or patted his back in friendly roughhousing. Gripping each other’s arms before battle was the most heartfelt touch they exchanged. Lingering soft touches were not done. Any lingering touch on his person could be interpreted as political movements. After all, Arthur’s body wasn’t his own. It never had been. He was Camelot’s first and foremost. Even above his own needs and wants.
