Summary
Poppy Clearwater was as quiet as a church mouse. Finding herself lost in her music and daydreaming about a million different lives she could be living. Her sister and Cedric being her only friends she suffers in her fifth year when she realises just how alone she really is. Is it her? Why can't she speak the words that are running around in her mind?
Fred Weasley was the opposite. Loud and proud, surrounded by people almost all the time, he often found that the words would come out of his mouth before his brain had even formed a sentence. He prided himself on his ability to win over absolutely anyone who dared to listen. Except her.
Fred can't stand that fact that no matter how hard he tries he can't get into her bubble, and Poppy can't stand that fact that she could count all her friends on one hand.
What happens when a deal is struck? When the two become so desperate for attention they have no choice but to rely on one another?

Starts prior to Into the Ring, and loosely follows the canon timeline. There is eventually smut, so enter at your peril. Reader is never physically described but uses a false name and may be treated as an OC.

Much to your chagrin, the man won't leave you alone and your life becomes entangled with his. Of course Sherlock always brings trouble, but maybe he isn't the only one. Sherlock sees something past the pleasant smiles but you are determined to keep a distance. Does he care enough to find out what it is? Or are you too stubborn to drop that wall? Either way, no one can stop the bickering.
