    “Can I help?” Han Ying isn’t sure he fully believes what Zhou Zishu had said about the warriors taking their cues from him, but he wants the colony to thrive. If there’s a chance he can influence them, he’s willing to try.

    Zhou Zishu eyes him speculatively. “Not just yet,” he says finally. “I’ll let you know.”
