Summary
Inspire by rhodey's "for the last time" fic, please, please, please go read it! It's so good, and also this might not make a lot of sense without reading it first.
Loki leaves Stark Tower after realizing Tony had betrayed him and didn't return his feelings. He flees to Alfheim to find an old friend, deciding to leave Earth and Tony behind. Tony fears Loki's revenge after lying to him and accidentally making the god fall in love with him, still recovering from the Skrull attack. Thor is torn between his brother and his friend, whilst handling the duties of New Asgard following Ragnorok.
But eventually the Mad Titan draws closer and the Avengers need Loki's help to defeat Thanos.

"What in the nine realms do you think you're doing?!" Loki yelled; it was the most emotion Fandral had seen on the other in a long time, almost amusing him, "Did you jump from the bridge?!"
"I came after you to save you! You fell from the bridge, was I supposed to just let you?"
"You bafoon!" The former prince reached out, grabbing Fandral's free wrist, "Yes! You were supposed to let me go! Now we're both Norns knows where! Thor will hunt me down in the afterlife, wailing about how I killed his friend."
