The kid snorts, “what, do you work in R&D at your own company?” When Tony just gives him a blank look he clears his throat, “nevermind. So if you can build a missile I bet you can figure out a way to get us out of here.”
Tony sighs, turning his face away. He’s so tired. “I can’t build them that weapon, kid.”
Now it’s the kid’s turn to look confused. “Then build something else,” he says simply.

After a raid of the Court of Owls property, The Bats and Birds find themselves with a new tool: A Talon. However they don’t seem to be interested in giving it orders, so what is an impatient Talon supposed to do other than make a nest and preen the only Owlet in the manor?
Aka an excuse to write an affectionate Dick Grayson mother-henning (err…Taloning) Damian and others. Also now with a lifetimes worth of expositions for no particular reason!

Dick Grayson has many secrets. He's a vigilante, he's a Bat, secrets are just a part of his life. There's one secret though that he has had since before his parents died. A secret that he has never told anyone, not his friends, not his siblings, and not Bruce.
Or, Dick's world has fallen apart again the weight of his secret growing with the years, the only question that remains is will it crush him or will it help him come home?

In a battle for the fate of the world, the Justice League loses. However, losing doesn’t mean that there’s nothing left to be done. Magic is a fickle thing, and destiny doesn’t like to be thwarted.

There are certain things that Dick and Bruce don’t talk about. Things like how Dick has always been able to understand what Bruce means when he grunts, or how he sometimes uses moves that Bruce hasn’t taught him yet, or how Bruce has red-yellow-green things everywhere and had installed a gymnastics room before even meeting Dick. It’s not like they can do anything about it, all the bits of knowing and feeling that appear like muscle memory and slip away like dreams. It’s just… how things are for them. It’s normal for the Manor to feel empty and quiet and lonely, filled with a pervasive sense of something missing. Dick sometimes finds himself wandering around, as if he could just find the right room then he could stick his head in and find—someone. Someones, plural.
(Or, the Bats don’t quite remember each other. They know no names, no faces, no details. But they remember enough, and once they find each other, it’ll take the world ending again before they let go.)

Tim wakes up inexplicably in his two-year-old body. Which: odd. But just think, how many people would kill to have an opportunity to redo their life! And Tim has so much he wants to change, so much he wants. He wants to feel important to Bruce. He wants to be Dick's favorite. He wants Jason (his childhood hero) to think he's cool. He wants Damian to need him. And really, is it manipulation if his family benefits from it?
Or: He was halfway through the second trash can, when a startled “Good lord” caught him off guard. Tim glanced up, the rhythmic sucking of his pacifier coming to a still at the sight of a black Rolls Royce idling at the side road that lead to Wayne Manor. Alfred was staring at him from the over the car top, aghast. “Master Bruce, it’s not a raccoon.”
From the back seat, Bruce Wayne stared at him. Tim stared back.
Or: Tim is side tracked by his actual childish needs and wants, gets a whole bunch of his nannies fired, terrorizes his parents with a series of petty revenges, is an honest employer of one (1) newly minted murderer for hire, endears himself to – and thoroughly weirds out – the Waynes, and is generally just a petty, manipulative, vindictive, smol boy.

Like Father, Damian kept his head leveled and mind clear at all times. His hours of meditation and breathing exercises as part of his routine ensured that. But as a portal opened beneath the youngest’s feet and his brothers falling through in an attempt to pull Richard from the rift, his heart dropped to his stomach.
Father’s war— My brothers.
And before he knows it, he’s also diving into the portal as it closes.
TLDR; Dick sneaks out to follow his brothers and Batman on patrol, gets caught up in portal shenanigans and, he and his older brothers are in a place like their own but is not.
Damian doesn’t have strong feelings about his father’s wards.
He is also lying to himself.

When Atlantis fell, it was Dick that first stepped to grab Garth. When Lian died it was Dick that cradled a drunk Roy, drinking for the first time in years. When Diana collapsed in battle it was Dick that charged Donna to recover the unbreathing body. And when Wally stumbled out of the speed force, it was Dick who spent nights at his bedside, when everyone else had fallen.
And when the Wayne family fell, one by one leaving Dick alone, it was the Titans that kept his heart beating.
(“ We going out with a bang boy wonder?” he teased receiving a sharp grin in response.
