Talia looks around, and spots a familiar face—scratch that, two familiar faces a few desks down. They haven’t noticed her, but she’s not surprised.
Chen and Bradford are engaged in a conversation. Chen’s in her seat (she’s made detective, Talia notices), and Bradford, now a sergeant, is leaning against her desk as he makes conversation with her.
They have smiles on their faces, and a flirtatious gleam in their eyes as they converse. Talia’s not sure what’s more surprising, Bradford smiling or Bradford flirting with his old rookie.
