    As Sonic and Tails search the remains of the ancient, sunken civilization for the third Chaos Emerald, the strength of their newly formed bond is tested as they narrowly avoid traps set by Robotnik and nature alike. But just like the water has worn away the stone ruins around them, the barriers they've both built up to protect themselves erode a little more each day.
