"How do you not know how to use a cellphone you absolute fucking.." You tune out the screeches of the woman who bared a striking resemblance to you.
Never in your life have you expected to experience something like this. Hell, who would even expect to find themselves in a strange and different world in the first place? Everything was still confusing to you.
"Ah fuck it! You are even more infuriating than those skeletons down the block!" She runs a hand down her face in frustration.
You feel yourself freeze at her words, painful memories flashing through your mind.
Your soul ached.
"Skeletons?"

Summary
You can't help but feel like a threat.
You can't help but feel like a threat as you sit among the family that buzzed with delight and laughter as they talked among themselves over the table. You can't help but feel out of place as you examine the faces of the people around you, their happy expressions a stark contrast to your dread filled eyes and pale face. You can't help but tremble when you realize that very soon their expressions would change when they find out what you could do.
"[Y/N]?"
The sound of a crack and a voice calling you breaks you out of your frenzied thoughts. "Is anything wrong?" They ask, placing their hand on your arm.
You don't look up at them and instead train your gaze to the floor toward the sound that distracted you. "No. Nothing's wrong." You tug an uneasy smile to your face, dread filling your stomach as you stare at the cracks that had formed underneath you.
