Tim thought of family. Of loneliness. Of all that lay in between.
Forcibly, painfully, Tim parted his lips. Breath rattled free, and he croaked out, “Yes.”

Tim's family, planet, and universe are destroyed in a matter of years. He dies, too, in the end, but is given a second chance at existence in a different world. A world where Damian is the first Robin and everything is backwards.

tim dies in the original universe due to some widespread sickness, where he was the last one left.
he is transported to a different dimension with reverse robins and is a ghost. he is tethered to whoever holds to robin mantle, and when someone graduates from it, tim disappears from them. (so much crying)
