Shikamaru released him, tucking his hands in his pockets. “Tch. Troublesome husband. It’s six. You’re not my Hokage anymore. We’re going home.”
Naruto started walking back to his desk. “You go home and I’ll see you there in two hours.”
Shikamaru dug his finger in his ear, bored. “You’ve been the Hokage for two years now. The Hokage’s Advisor cannot leave until the Hokage does. So the Advisor says, we’re leaving.”
Just as the words left his mouth, a shadow slithered across the flow, trapping Naruto.
“Oh this is below the belt, Shika.”
Shika grinned. “You didn’t complain the last time I used the jutsu on you.”
