    Summary

"The human world is full of weak-minded people, who think they're as clever as can be and are convinced that it's terribly important to persuade even the children that Fantastica doesn't exist.”

Homestuck is the postmodernism Final Boss.

This is an essay about Homestuck's philosophy, its theses on reality and growing up, what it means to live a good life, why the ending feels "off", why anything ever happens. This essay explores Homestuck's Deep Lore, the bottom of the iceberg, its most foundational core values.

Chapter 1: Why the ending is bad (it's on purpose!).
Chapter 2 & 3: Classpects and denizens explained, with religiously cited sources and textual evidence. I cracked the code.
Chapter 4: How the dancestors created Lord English.

    Summary

Bjorn guffaws, before smiling widely. “To our captain Illuga, for keeping us well fed!”
There’s a cheer to that, and Illuga can feel his face burn red as the ratniki around him grab their drinks to wave them in the air.
“To our captain Illuga, for guiding us through the dark!”
And then Flins stands, raising his cup. He smiles, staring Illuga in the eyes. “To our captain Illuga, for devoting his heart and soul to the Orioles.”
As their fellow lightkeepers cheer in agreement, Illuga feels like he’s about to vomit from the sudden attention.

“I meant it when I see you as the sun, I mean it. You're glowing, quite literally, master Illuga. It enchants me.”

Kuuhvakhi, Illuga realizes. Damned kuuhvakhi. “I really am quite plain,” he protests feebly. “I'm unsure what you're seeing.”

Flins’ grin sharpens. With glee, the fae sends shivers down Illuga's spine. “You're lying.

    Summary

“Close your eyes for me, young master.”

A gloved hand settles over Illuga’s face, and the fae is so close to his ear. It’s compulsion, Illuga realizes deliriously, and what else is he supposed to do but obey and squeeze them shut. The fae breathes in, and a low murmur is in his ear. “Don’t look.”

And like a coward, Illuga obeys without question.
