"Oi! Surgeon, you've got one more; this old fool was hiding his injuries," a British musician scowled and shoved an American into the sickbay, one he recognized quickly: the one who'd broken his glasses. The American infantryman yelled a few curses at the musician before walking in, nursing his shoulder.
"Bien sûr, vous, de toutes les personnes," Ernest grumbled under his breath, slowly opening his surgeon's kit once more. He was reminded of the dull ache in his left eye—bruising, no doubt. He listened to the American's footsteps as he approached, aware of the eyes on him.
"You talking to me?" The golden-haired American asked, raising a suspicious eyebrow.

After the events of Roscoff, the remaining soldiers on the USS Constitution sail back to America. The only French surgeon, Ernest, has to tend to Henry, an American infantryman who had nearly killed him in Roscoff.

“Hey, you’re doing great, you know that?”
His tone felt more sincere than Jez felt was warranted. It didn’t sound like just a light attempt at preserving Jez’s feelings. He almost sounded… concerned.
“I’m not doing much of anything,” Jez retorted, letting his posture slouch. Something whispered from somewhere in the back of his mind that he must’ve looked a bit like a petulant child doing that. The idea embarrassed him, but he didn’t exactly feel the need to correct it.
“That’s not–” Guest hesitated. He usually didn’t. With a huff, he cut himself off and changed course. “That’s uh, the beauty of fishing, I guess. Patience.”
Jez turned his head to look back at him, raising an eyebrow. “And you do this for fun?” He didn’t mean to sound so judgmental but, well, the sentence was already out there. And truly, he meant the sentiment. This clearly wasn’t the most riveting thing the man could be doing outside of war.

Summary

Caine has found himself in a bubble of conflicts and feelings that he refuses to deal with, and like the mature person he is, he puts them aside for years.
Feelings involving his Computer Science professor, Grant, and coincidentally, also his new ecology professor, which is also something Caine loves to study. Three years have passed ignoring these feelings, however, a new student, from Grant's past, arrives at the college, and everything Caine has kept hidden comes to the surface.
And in the midst of all this, Caine loses something important to him, and Grant was the one to find it. During this moment, something happens that could change everything.
And Caine, little by little, begins to break down after this.
Consequently, his performance begins to gradually declines because of this situation, and Grant notices this immediately, since Caine is one of the best student of his there. At the same time, Grant also tries to deal with his feelings regarding a beloved student.

Guest 1337 had always known he was different, but he could never pinpoint exactly why. He’d attributed it to many things throughout his life: He was different for being a Guest. Different for being an orphan. Different for being a soldier. Different for being a survivor. And yet, none of it was the exact truth. It was close, but the answer was just out of his grasp, grazing his fingertips, barely out of reach.
Others noticed it too—five others, to be exact–but they could never find the answer either. They believed the excuses and left it at that.
In all his life, only one person had ever managed to find the reason, and it was without his own knowledge.
But of course it was. He wouldn’t have known, nor would anyone else—anyone other than an Astral, someone who knew what they were and how to spot it in others. Only they would recognize the abilities of their kind, and in over thirty years, only one had recognized it in Guest. Only one in his life would see and know the true power that lies within.

Summary
It’s been a few days since The Favorite Character Awards.
Pomni has been through a number of bizarre things during her time in the circus. Candy truck chases, angel head horrors, minimum wage labor, athletic events, gun-filled battle royales. But none of these come close to what she witnesses on a seemingly innocent day full of beach-filled fun: Caine attempting to take his own life.
After managing to stop him, Pomni takes it upon herself (and is borderline forced to by Bubble) to help keep Caine’s mental state intact by engaging in improvised therapy sessions with him. After all, if Caine died, what would happen to the circus? And to the humans that lived within it? This was her only concern at first. But as Caine opens up to her more through these sessions, she realizes just how much the AI is hurting and how long he has been harboring these negative emotions.
Turns out Caine needs more help than she thought.
He's just as trapped in this game as they are. And worse.

Summary
This fic is based off the Ctrl-Alt-Del AU! The link and AU summary are in the beginning notes.
Caine sets up karaoke for the humans as a reward for completing his adventure. When they ignore the songs he made in favor of singing their own human song from outside the circus, he is initially frustrated, but decides to use it to improve on his future adventures. He pores over it for days, and finds that it’s… actually pretty fun to listen to.
Bubble sets up karaoke for the humans (and Caine). They start thinking of a song, and Caine remembers the one the humans sang back when he made a karaoke night for them. As it turns out, analyzing that song for so long actually paid off.
