Summary
Shane has built the perfect life—the kind a retired hockey star is supposed to want. A sprawling home in Los Angeles, a glamorous actress wife, and a carefully constructed lavender marriage that works beautifully for both of them. He and Rose are soulmates in every way that matters—platonically, of course. With his career behind him and his old injury flaring up more often than not, Shane should be more than content to settle into his poolside retirement.
